You are our Pride and Joy! You are our Sunshine! You are everything we dreamed of in a daughter and more! Today you are 4 years old! You are a Big Girl! You were so happy with all the parties and celebration we had over the week-end, You were so grateful and so gracious thanking us.

I know a day like today could be bitter sweet, but I guess you are still a little young to realise that. As you very well know K is in our hearts always and we shall pray she is happy and safe...how I wish she knew you are safe, healthy and happy with parents who just adore you!

You have a lovely day, a lovely year, may you continue to thrive, be healthy and happy, be loving and caring thoughtful and kind as you are always.

Nous on était écroulé de rire! Et puis son Papa, est-tu certaine que tu ne désires pas une belle tente d'indien en beau tissus? Ou une magnifique poupée? Ou encore toute la collection des histoires de Beatrix Potter? (le sujet de son annif...suite au prochain épisode!).

Bon je vous laisse je dois passer le pastirateur dans la cuisine!

Excellente journée...on part chez les ânes tout à l'heure mais Miss B a mal aux yeux donc détour chez le Dr.

Fund Raising Charity Akanksha

My good friend G, sent me this email last night:

Hi,

We’re doing some fund-raising for a charity called Akanksha that I
recently did some voluntary work for.

Akanksha educates kids who live in slums in India and believes that a
good basic education is the best way to help these kids help themselves. It is a
professionally run charity and I have visited the centres and can vouch for the
fact that the money is spent on the kids and not on lots of admin. We’re aiming
to raise £3,500 which is the running cost of an Akanksha centre to educate 60
kids for a whole year! This covers the cost of teachers, materials and field

The Punch Tavern (99 Fleet Street, London) is combining this fund-raiser with
their Summer party for their Members on Tuesday 5 August. Come along if you can,
